Launches New Virtual Executive Teaching Suite Using X2O OneRoom
Cardiff Business School has launched a state-of-the-art Virtual Executive Teaching Suite (VETS) powered by X2O OneRoom, setting a new standard for hybrid learning and collaboration.
Developed in partnership with GVAV, this innovative space within Cardiff University’s Aberconway Building is designed to seamlessly connect in-room and remote participants through real-time, interactive sessions, enhancing the teaching and learning experience in a post-pandemic world.
X2O OneRoom is a scalable, feature-rich platform designed to enhance virtual learning and collaboration through real-time tools like interactive whiteboards, breakout groups, polls, and quizzes. With secure, browser-based access and immersive features such as directional audio and personalized video wall placement, the system fosters meaningful connections between remote and in-room participants. Its intuitive design and flexibility make it the ideal solution for Cardiff Business School’s new virtual classroom, supporting exceptional learning outcomes through an engaging, interactive, and connected experience.
Both X2O Media and GVAV coordinated in an excellent manner with University IT and stakeholders to help achieve this definite solution. Both attention to detail and positivity was present throughout - from installation to programming and delivery, including consideration for rack cooling, ambient noise levels, and room aesthetics.
