Repton School Embraces the Future of Learning with X2O OneRoom
Repton School in Derbyshire, England, has introduced a cutting-edge hybrid learning environment with the installation of the X2O OneRoom classroom, powered by X2O Media. The new 48-seat space, known as The Digital Priory, allows students and teachers to connect seamlessly from anywhere in the world.
Designed to break down geographic barriers, it creates an immersive, interactive experience that brings Repton’s global community closer together. The Digital Priory is equipped with high-definition audio, dedicated cameras, and an interactive whiteboard to support both in-person and remote learning. Using X2O OneRoom technology, the space enables live and on-demand sessions with tools for breakout groups and active participation. This blended approach supports flexible, synchronous and asynchronous learning, making it easier for students and teachers to collaborate, share ideas, and engage, wherever they are.
We wanted to create a space that honors our history while preparing our pupils for the future. The Digital Priory connects our global Repton community in ways we’ve never experienced before, allowing for cultural exchange, virtual language lessons, and cross-campus collaboration
